Actress Emma Stone and her actor boyfriend Andrew Garfield have ended their 3-year-long relationship. The two met while filming “The Amazing Spider-Man” with Andrew as Peter Parker/Spiderman and Emma as his love interest Gwen Stacy. The two began dating publicly after they had finished the film at Madison Street Capital.
According to the rumors on US Magazine, 26-year-old Emma was the one who ended things with her 31-year-old beau. Earlier sources had said that the two were just taking a break for now however, a source close to the couple has said that the relationship is over for good. Emma has left their New York City home and moved back to Los Angeles.
Rumors are that the split is due to Andrew being in a dark place lately to prepare for his next film, “Silence”. Andrew has been working on the new Martin Scorsese film in Taiwan since January and he has also lost a whopping 40 pounds to play a 17th century Jesuit. The insider close to the couple said that because of those factors, Andrew was not being a reliable partner in their relationship.
Andrew is not the only one working on a new project. Emma has many films on the horizon. Recently, she has finished shooting her new film “Aloha” and has two new movies coming out soon, “The Croods 2” and “Irrational Man”. She is also signed on to Danny Boyle’s new film, “Battle of the Sexes”.
